L'Eterna Vacanza began with one object: a leather bag that opens into a backgammon board. Everything else has to be worth carrying.

About L'Eterna Vacanza

A leather bag that opens into a backgammon board.

L'Bag Gammon is the first object from L'Eterna Vacanza: full-grain bovine leather, sourced in Italy and cut and stitched by hand in Colombia, so the bag opens flat into a playing board. Fifteen cream and fifteen black checkers, four dice and a doubling cube ride in a pocket behind a nickel zip; zipped, it carries like a baguette under the arm or cross-body on the strap.

It plays the same at the kitchen table and in a terminal lounge, and it is the rule for everything the house makes: worth carrying. Nero and Rosso carry the line today, with small objects — beginning with a souvenir lighter — beside them.
